As regulators and plaintiffs continue to scrutinize plan sponsor’s decisions, retirement plan advisors and consultants, including TPAs, are finding opportunities to differentiate their services and ensure they are supporting the reasonableness of their fees. Because most of the challenges facing sponsors are unrelated to investments, successful service providers are expanding the nature and scope of their non-fiduciary services. These services, however, take time to deliver and, often times, service providers struggle to generate necessary scale to remain profitable. Jason Roberts, CEO of Pension Resource Institute and Retirement Law Group, will describe the most common risks for plan sponsors and how advisors and/or consultants can implement consistent and repeatable solutions to maximize their value. Attendees will be provided with actionable, client-facing take-aways and job aids to enhance client prospecting and retention.
Jason C. Roberts, Esq. is the founder and CEO of the Pension Resource Institute (PRI), a consulting firm that delivers compliance, training and technology-based solutions to financial institutions serving retirement investors.
