About our Presenter:

Asa Jean is a Certified Specialist of Wine through the Society of Wine Educators. He began his wine career in the restaurant business selling Champagne and Cabernet at a steak and seafood restaurant in Atlanta. In the spring of 2005, with a peaked interest in the world of wine, he set out to travel some of the most renowned wine regions in Europe. After traveling through France, Italy, and Spain on different occasions over the years focusing on different regions each time he moved to Portland to explore the wine regions of Oregon, Washington, and California. In November 2014 he began working as an account manager with Young’s Market Company, a wine and spirits distributor in the Pacific Northwest, representing an international portfolio of wine to some of the top hotels and restaurants in Portland. He regularly conducts educational seminars with both restaurant staff and the public.

Free for members, $10 for non-members 

Please note:  Parking is complimentary at Hotel Rose.  There is an upper lot (enter on Morrision Street) and a lower lot (enter on 1st Street).  This is self-parking and shared with the hotel so it is per availability.
